Rathcahaun is an enclosure in County Clare, Ireland. It appears on a slight rise in reclaimed pasture. The land is gently undulating. The site is listed as an enclosure. It is no longer visible at ground level. The earth has taken back what people built.
On a slight rise in reclaimed pasture in a gently undulating landscape. Hachured on the 1840 and 1920 OS 6-inch maps as a rath. Listed as ‘Enclosure’ in the SMR (1992) and the RMP (1996). On inspection in 1999 there were no visible remains at ground level.
