What is recorded here
According to O'Kelly (1969, 155) under the placename 'Pollagh, Pollach', he notes that, 'Cnoc na rátha, a rath site, is the name of Pollach hill and mentioned in O'Sullivan's Diary'. There is no enclosure indicated in Pollagh townland either on the 1st (1839) ed. OS 6-inch map or on the 1948 revision of this map. The precise location of this possible enclosure within the townland is unknown.
