What is recorded here
Located on top of a broad hill in a coniferous forest. This is an oval area (dims 24m NE-SW; 16.5m NW-SE) defined by a slight scarp. It is adjacent to the cairn of court tomb (LE015-108001-) which lies to SE. It is now largely removed through tree-planting and cutting (Bing 2013).
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Leitrim' compiled by Michael J. Moore (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2003). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
