On a slight S-facing slope, in pasture, with good views from SE-SSE-S, 220m SW of the townland boundary with Ballyea. Barrow (LI022-133----) 175m to SW. Monument is not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular-shaped cropmark on Bruff Survey aerial photographs (Bruff 105: AP4/3647). Monument surveyed by the ASI in 2000 and described as no surface remains visible. Monument is not visible on Digital Globe orthophotos taken 2011-13 or on Google Earth orthoimages taken 28/06/2018.
