Enclosure in Middlequarter (Newcastle parish) is an enclosure in Middlequarter (Newcastle parish), County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a steep east-facing slope on Knocknagearagh hill in the Knockmealdown mountains, above a river valley. The irregular enclosure measures 63 metres north-south and 53 metres east-west, bounded by a rubble wall that reaches 1.15 metres internally on the western upslope section. A 1.6-metre entrance in the north quadrant has stone walls extending about 9 metres beyond the enclosure, while collapsed stone fills the western sector and a possible hut site is built against the internal wall in the north-west quadrant.

On a fairly steep E-facing slope of Knocknagearagh hill in the Knockmealdown mountains, in upland terrain with a river valley at the base of the slope. This is part of a complex of enclosures (TS091-009001-; TS091-009007-; TS091-009008-; TS091-009009-), hut sites (TS091-009003-; TS091-009004-; TS091-009006-; TS091-009010-; TS091-009011-), a possible ring-cairn (TS091-009002-), clearance cairns (TS091-009005-) and a field system (TS091-009013-) identified by Diarmuid O'Keeffe, 1996. An irregular-shaped enclosure (diam. 63m N-S; 53m E-W) defined by a rubble wall (Wth 2.7m; int. H 0.11m; ext. H 0.5m) which is more substantial upslope to the W (Wth 2.1m; int. H 1.15m; ext. H 0.15m). The interior slopes to the E. There is a well-defined entrance (Wth 1.6m) in the N quadrant with a stone wall on either side which continues for c. 9m beyond the enclosure. Roughly centrally placed within the enclosure there is a cairn (TS091-009014-) and in the NW quadrant there is a possible hut site (TS091-009015-) which is built up against the internal wall of the enclosure.
