In level grassland, c. 50m W of the Ahascragh River. A subcircular enclosure (E-W 19.5m, N-S 18m) defined by a bank and shallow external fosse. From SSW to W, a trackway has disturbed the enclosing elements. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
