Located towards the top of a broad, low hill. The cropmark of an oval enclosure (dims c. 30m NE-SW; c. 25m NW-SE) which is defined by an uncertain fosse feature which might have an inturned entrance at SE is visible on digital aerial photographs (WX050-025_1 to _3) from July 2006.
