Tobereleesh is not merely a well but a living wheel where water, stone and memory collide. The circular enclosure sits immediately south of the holy well, its low wide bank still marking the boundary between human life and hidden presence. To walk its edge is not to inspect a ruin but to join an old conversation where clarity arrives through embodied discernment rather than intellectual control.

This circular enclosure is situated immediately S of Tobereleesh holy well (KE009-013----) whose rounds included both fort and well. The enclosing bank is low and wide, though it is better preserved to the S. The bank rises to an average of .4m above the interior and .4m-1.4m externally. The enclosure measures internally 22m N-S and 25m E-W. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
