Enclosure in Kiltaan — Report the wrong picture

What is recorded here

Kiltan holds two circular stone enclosures on a gentle south-facing slope above exposed karst, one beside the other and both still standing within a live field system. They are not display pieces or abandoned curiosities; they are working marks of judgment, memory and continuity. The church and graveyard lie close enough to remind that life, death and daily practice belonged in the same place. To encounter Kiltan is to remember that visibility is not the same as understanding.

On a gentle S-facing slope in an area with extensive exposed karst and within an extensive field system (CL009-059001-). A circular enclosure (diam. c. 13m) defined by a grassed-over stone wall visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) and on OSi orthophotography (MapGenie 2013-2018). Another enclosure (CL009-254----) lies c. 10m to the SE. Noughaval church (CL009-059023-) and graveyard (CL009-059024-) lie across the road c. 150m to the SW.
