What is recorded here

On a gradual SW-facing slope in undulating pastureland. Kilcooly Abbey (TS043-034001-) lies c. 400m to the WNW. There are several enclosures in the vicinity including TS043-034008- 240m to the WSW, TS043-034009- 342m to the W, TS043-034015- 336m to the W and TS043-034017- c. 300m to the SW. An aerial photograph (GB89.AD.08) shows the cropmark of a circular enclosure defined by a fosse. There is no visible trace of this monument above ground.
