Enclosure in Kilcoolyabbey is an enclosure in Kilcoolyabbey, County Tipperary, Ireland. It occupies a gentle northeast-facing slope in undulating pastureland, about 400 metres southeast of Kilcooly Abbey. The site remains a roughly circular low rise, 24 metres from north to south and 21 metres from east to west, while an aerial photograph reveals the cropmark of an incomplete curvilinear enclosure defined by a fosse.
On a gentle NE-facing slope in undulating pastureland. Kilcooly Abbey (TS043-034001-) lies c. 400m to the NW. There are several enclosures in the vicinity including TS043-034008- 195m to the NNW, TS043-034009- 240m to the NW, TS043-034015- 284m to the NW, TS043-034016- c. 300m to the NE. An aerial photograph (GB89.AD.12) shows the cropmark of an incomplete curvilinear enclosure defined by a fosse. Though this monument has been levelled it is visible as a roughly circular low rise (diam. 24m N-S; 21m E-W).
