Enclosure in Dysart

Marked on the 1841 edition of the OS 6-inch map. Depicted as a subcircular enclosure (max. diam. c. 55m NE-SW) running from S-NE on the 1909 edition A field wall curves around the site from NE-S. No visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P.
