What is recorded here

Marked on the 1841-42 OS map as a circular enclosure, this site is not as clearly defined on the 1915 map. This is a small area which is enclosed by a 3m wide earthen bank rising to .5m high. The internal diameter is 10.3m N-S and 10.5m E-W. The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle.
