Enclosure in Crossderry

In rough hill pasture, on a SE-facing slope in the valley of the Cummeraloodery stream. A circular area (5.85m N-S; 5.5m E-W) defined by the roughly constructed lower courses of a collapsed drystone wall (T 0.5m; H 0.65m) which protrude above the surface of the bog. The interior slopes down to the SE and is largely obscured by rubble. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
