Half of the enclosure has vanished, leaving a broken circle cut by a drain and fence in the marshy Milltown valley. The surviving northern bank still stands two metres wide, dense with growth, while the southern half has surrendered completely to the land. Whatever lived inside that small space has been erased, but the remaining curve suggests a boundary drawn deliberately before forgetting took it.

Situated in level marshy land in the valley of the Milltown river, this site consists of a sub-circular enclosure which is bisected E-W by the townland boundary fence and by a field drain. It measures c. 10m in diameter internally but the S half of the bank, shown on the 2nd edition of the OS map, does not survive. The bank enclosing the N half of the site is c. 2m wide at base, .3 to .5m high externally and .75 to 1m high internally; it is composed of both earth and stone and is densely overgrown.
