Enclosure in Carrowkeel (ballymoe By.)

Near the summit of a hill in undulating pastureland. Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as a subcircular enclosure (E-W c. 50m). Known locally as 'Flaherty's Fort' (Neary 1914, 116, no. 92). Apart from a small section of an earthen bank at S, no visible surface trace survives. A ringfort (GA017-035----) lies c. 300m to WNW.
