What is recorded here
On an E-facing slope, running off the edge of a flat ridge, down to a small river. In undulating upland terrain, under pasture. Possible enclosure identified as a roughly D-shaped cropmark (diam. c. 20m) on aerial photograph (Air Corps V311/2966-7). There is a natural ridge in the vicinity of the possible enclosure, which continues to run roughly N-S across the field. The enclosure is not visible at ground level.
