What is recorded here
This circular enclosure is marked on the 1842 and 1897 OS maps. It also shows up very clearly on the Air Corps aerial photographs (VI63/98, 10.5.49). However, it has since been levelled.
The above description is derived from C. Toal, ‘North Kerry Archaeological Survey’. Dingle. Brandon in association with FAS Training and Employment Authority (1995), no. 1079. In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
