What is recorded here

Death and rebirth keep a narrow knife-edge. That is the enclosure, not a vague promise. It is a visible edge where two living currents meet. One current loses an identity, a memory, a structure or a belief. The other current takes that lost material and forms it again. The chamber does not ask you to forget nothing. It asks you to stop protecting what must be changed.
In improved pasture, 15m E of the River Mahore which also marks a townland boundary with Gortacloona and 115m S of a confluence with the Ballynamona River. Ringforts (LI032-089/092----) lie 115m to N and 135m to S respectively. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Monument identified by the Bruff aerial photographic survey in 1986 (Bruff 228: AP 5/2016) as a subrectangular-shaped earthwork defined by a scarp to E. Monument is visible as a subrectangular-shaped earthwork (31m NNW-SSE; 22m ENE-WSW) enclosed by the angle of a floodplain scarp to E and S and by a curvilinear-scarp from SW-W-N-NE, as seen on OSi orthoimage taken 2005-2012, on Digital Globe orthoimage taken 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimage 25/03/2017.
