At the E-foot of a small, rocky knoll with commanding views to the N and E. Hachured on the Cassini edition (1915) of the OS 6-inch map.
A poorly preserved, oval area (int. diams. 18m N-S; 14m E-W) is defined by a broad, low enclosing bank (Wth 3-5m at base; H 0.2-0.4m) which has been reduced to a counterscarp (int. H 1.5m) W-NNW with higher ground immediately outside. Land improvement works may have resulted in the deterioration of the enclosing element.
