An Baile Breac,an Fhaiche,baile An Chnocáin (tc Cill Chuain) is a pilgrimage enclosure set against precipitous eastern cliffs, where a semi-circular stony bank still marks the boundary between human devotion and raw altitude. The cluster of features near the cliff edge suggests people once gathered there to face the void, perhaps believing the height would carry prayer farther or test the strength of their faith. Two faint outer walls visible from above hint at a larger design, maybe a place where the living and dead shared the same steep air.

Enclosure: Precipitous cliffs define the E side of the mountain's summit. The various features associated with the pilgrimage site are grouped close to those cliffs, enclosed by a semi-circular, stony bank, up to 1m high. What appear to be the remains of 2 outer walls are visible outside this bank from the air (Pouchin Mould 1972, 67). The above description is derived from J. Cuppage (compiler) 'Corca Dhuibhne.
