Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

Marked as an oval embanked and wooded enclosure (ext. dims c. 70m NE-SW; c. 50m NW-SE) on the 1837 ed. of the OS 6-inch map and as a small oval wood (dims c. 60m NE-SW; c. 35m NW-SE) on the 1914 ed. Situated on a gentle SE-facing slope. Oval grass-covered area (dims 45.8m N-S; 31.9m E-W) with some tree-stumps defined by a low overgrown earthen bank (Wth 3.6-5m; int. H 0.2-0.3m; ext. H 0.5-1.4m) and outer fosse (Wth of top 4.1-4.6m; Wth of base 2-2.4m; D 0.4-0.6m), both of which have been removed SSW-WSW to create a pond. There is no identifiable original entrance.
