On a shelf of an E-facing slope. Subircular grass and scrub-covered area (dims 58m N-S; 52m E-W) defined by an overgrown earthen bank (Wth 6.2-8.6m; int. H 0.7-1.1m; ext. H 1.7-1.9m generally to 2.3 at E) and outer fosse (Wth of top 6.5-7.4m generally to10m at E; Wth of base 2.1-3m generally to 3.9m at E; D 0.5m at W to 0.9-1.1m N-E). There is no identifiable original entrance. Rath (RO023-174----) is c. 210m to the S.
