Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or earthen ringfort in Fearagh (caddell), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a gentle SE-facing slope as a circular grass-covered area thirty metres north-south and twenty-eight metres east-west. A low scarp and outer fosse mark its perimeter, while a field bank skirts the northern edge. Rath (RO017-014----) lies two hundred and twenty metres to the northwest.
On a gentle SE-facing slope. Described in 1967 as a circular area (diam. c. 30m) defined by an earthen bank (Wth c. 1.5m; int. H c. 0.5m; ext. H c. 1.5m) and fosse (Wth of base c. 2.5m; D 0.3m) (SMR file). It is now visible as a circular grass-covered area (diam. 30m N-S; 28m E-W) defined by a scarp (H 0.2-0.6m), and an outer fosse (Wth of top 4-4.5m; Wth of base 2.6m; D 0.1-0.2m) SW-SE. A field bank skirts the perimeter at N, impinging on the fosse. Rath (RO017-014----) is c. 220m to the NW.
