Embanked enclosure is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Carrowduff AND Garbally, County Roscommon, Ireland. It appeared as a circular embanked enclosure about 35m wide on 1837 and 1915 maps, sitting on the crest of a low ridge running north-northeast to south-southwest. A 1968 description recorded a subrectangular area defined by a stone spread with traces of a house site inside. The site is no longer visible at ground level in reclaimed pasture, while Rath lies about 190m to the north-northeast.

Marked as a circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35m) on the 1837 and 1915 eds of the OS 6-inch map, and situated on the crest of a low NNE-SSW ridge. It was described in 1968 as a subrectangular area defined by a stone spread with traces of a house site (RO051-055002-) in the interior (SMR file). It is not visible now at ground level in reclaimed pasture. Rath (RO051-054----) is c. 190m to the NNE. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
