Ellon, Castle Road, Smithy is an 18th-century smithy and yard in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Heat and hammer work may have filled the yard, making the road smell of iron and soot while people waited for tools, shoes or repair. The saved point still marks a small violent place where fire, metal and human patience met.
