This bronze commemorative plaque records: Commemorating the 300th anniversary of the granting of the Market Charter by King Charles II in 1680 and the visit by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth to Garstang on 20th.May 1980 This Cross was repaired by public subscription June 1897, to Commemorate the sixtieth year of the reign of Her Most Gracious Majesty Queen Victoria.
