Éire Memorial is a memorial in County Dublin, Ireland. Perhaps the bronze woman stands tall enough for children to measure their growth against her ankles, marking time in inches rather than years. Maybe Joseph Downes and Son Ltd. Perhaps poured extra copper into her feet so she would never wobble when Dublin winds push against her.
