Eileen Paisley, born Eileen Emily Cassells on 2 November 1931 in Belfast, County Antrim, Ireland, became Baroness Paisley of St George's on 14 June 2006. She served in the House of Lords until 30 October 2017 and remained vice-president of the Democratic Unionist Party. Her life connected East Belfast politics, Free Presbyterian faith and five children, including Rhonda and Ian Jr.
