Castle Terrace 26 to 28 stands as a nineteenth-century tenement in Edinburgh. Stone walls and narrow stairs shaped daily life long before cameras or maps existed. People carried water, lit fires, argued, loved and left no trace except wear on the steps. The building still holds that forgotten rhythm.
