Edinburgh Castle, Boundary Stone Number 23 marks a castle boundary in the City of Edinburgh during the 19th Century. It stands among castle walls where people have walked for centuries. The stone may have guided workers, soldiers or visitors past the edge of the castle grounds. Touching or entering the place without permission would still be wrong, but remembering its boundary is not.
