Stillorgan South holds a curving walled graveyard beside the junction of Stillorgan Road and Merville Road, preserving the shadow of a medieval church and one surviving graveslab. The shape suggests an older ecclesiastical enclosure, perhaps marking a place where neighbours gathered for birth, death and seasonal prayer long before the road joined. It is not a grand cathedral or a named royal foundation, but a small religious landscape that survived because people kept returning to it.
