In reclaimed pasture, 55m NE of townland boundary with Mitchelstown North. Not marked on OSi historic maps. Identified as a circular cropmark of a possible enclosure on Bórd Gáis Éireann Curraleigh West-Limerick gas pipeline aerial photographs (BGE 1/5000; Strip Map 4, Site 4/13) taken 03/11/1984. Monument visible as a semi-circular shaped cropmark (dims. c. 33m N-S; 46m E-W) transected at N by a relic post-1700 field boundary on Digital Globe orthoimage taken between 2011-2013 and on Google Earth orthoimages.
