Earthworks visible on oblique aerial photographs (CUCAP AJV094) taken 12/07/1964 in the vicinity of the Augustinian nunnery at Ballynagallagh may be the remains of a field system of unknown antiquity. Some of the features visible in the aerial photographs may be natural or geological features such as rock outcrop however others may be the remains of a medieval road and or associated field boundaries.
