E. F. Benson was a prolific English writer known for his humorous works and the Mapp and Lucia series, while A. C. Benson was an essayist, critic, and author who also wrote the lyrics to "Land of Hope and Glory"; both brothers contributed significantly to English literature in the early 20th century.
