Dunrobin Castle, Walled Garden is an 18th-century garden in Sutherland, preserved beside Dunrobin Castle and recorded as a listed building. Its pavilion, gate piers and terraced garden still mark the shape of a house that wanted to keep summer inside stone. The castle may have shown off wealth, but the garden suggested something less proud: a place where people walked, waited and watched the Highland sky change over living things.
