The *Duke of Lancaster* was a coaster that ran aground in 1940 at Llannerch-y-Mor Wharf, Anglesey, during a storm while carrying a cargo of coal. The wreck resulted in no reported loss of life and remains a notable example of 20th-century maritime incidents in Welsh waters.
