Dryslwyn Fawr and Dryslwyn Castle is a castle, fort or tower in Sir Gaerfyrddin / Carmarthenshire, Wales. Perhaps its stones still hold the heat of hands that built them. Maybe the wind carries voices from rooms no longer standing. Imagine a keeper walking the rampart at dusk, listening for answers the mountain never gives.

Built by the de Briouze family in the late 12th or early 13th century, Dryslwyn Castle was later held by the powerful Lord Rhys and the subsequent Princes of Deheubarth, playing a key role in the struggle between Welsh and Norman forces in the Carmarthenshire region.
