Docker Knott reaches a height of approximately 305 metres and is part of the rugged terrain of the Lake District National Park. It is composed primarily of Ordovician volcanic rock, typical of the region's mountainous geology. While not prominent in folklore, it contributes to the area's recreational and scenic value.
