Dermot & Granias Bed is a wedge tomb in County Clare, Ireland, where ancient stones still lean against the sky. People may have laid their dead beneath those broad rocks, trusting the earth to keep what life could no longer carry. The name suggests a bed, as if death itself had become a room large enough for two.
