Denis M. Hurley

Denis Michael Hurley was born in Limerick, Ireland, in 1843, the son of Michael Hurley and Catherine Cusick. He left that place as a child, crossed the ocean in 1850, and became a Brooklyn dockworker, dredging contractor, and eventually a United States representative.
