De Liefde was a Dutch East Indiaman built in 1612 that was shipwrecked on Mio Ness, Housay, in the Orkney Islands in 1629. The ship was carrying a valuable cargo of silk, spices, and porcelain when it was lost in a storm, with no survivors reported; its wreck is significant as one of the best-preserved 17th-century shipwrecks in northern Europe and a key site for understanding early global trade.
