Why this matters

Danebury Hill rises to approximately 180 metres and is part of the North Wessex Downs, an area of chalk downland with significant Iron Age and Roman archaeological remains. It is near the prominent Danebury Hill Fort, a large and well-preserved Iron Age earthwork, which underscores its historical and cultural importance in the region.
