Freestanding "back-to-back" handball alley, extant 1941, on a rectangular plan with cement rendered boundary walls to perimeter having lichen-covered rounded coping. Now disused. Set in grounds originally shared with Dalganpark.
A ""back-to-back"" handball alley illustrating the redevelopment of the Dalganpark estate as Saint Columban's Chinese Mission College (opened 1918; closed 1941). NOTE: A similar ""back-to-back"" handball alley was erected for the Columban Missionaries when they opened the new Dalgan Park (1938-41) at Dowdstown House in County Meath.
