What is recorded here

Five cursing stones left Inishmurray for the National Museum of Ireland, stripping the Atlantic island of the objects people once touched or avoided during ritual. They were not decorative; they marked a place where identity, conflict or commitment could be cast outward through stone. Their removal did not disable them. It relocated the danger, leaving behind a vacancy that still shapes how the island is remembered.

This record refers to five cursing stones that were removed from Inishmurray, Co. Sligo (see SL001-001015-), to the National Museum of Ireland.
