Cumbernauld

Cumbernauld is associated with Saint Cumbert or Cummine, a 7th-century Irish missionary linked to the spread of Christianity in Scotland. Traditionally, the site was believed to have healing properties, particularly for ailments of the eyes and skin, with rituals often involving the use of water from a nearby holy well.
