Culzean Castle, Hillhead preserves a prehistoric lithic implement, marking the site as an ancient human workshop long before castle walls rose. The stone edge still carries the shape of hands that struck, scraped or cut, while later visitors walk past unaware they near a forgotten maker. What the castle displays as grandeur, the ground remembers as practice: a small sharp tool dropped or discarded, waiting for someone to imagine the arm behind it.
