Culzean Castle, Camellia House is a 19th-century glasshouse associated with the larger Culzean Castle, which was built by the Kennedy family, later Earls of Cassilis, in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The glasshouse is remembered as part of the extensive estate improvements reflecting the wealth and status of the Kennedy family during the Scottish Enlightenment and Georgian periods.
