What is recorded here

Cull Castle is a 19th-century schooner lost in Tobermory Bay, its timber hull now settled beneath the Sound of Mull. The exact location is known within a hundred metres, yet the sea keeps the deck, cargo and every living memory the journey carried. What the water took, it also changed, turning a working vessel into a quiet chamber where pressure and darkness finish what departure began.

Scotland's National Record of the Historic Environment records Cull Castle: Tobermory Bay, Sound of Mull as Schooner (19th Century). The official map says its point is accurate as follows: NGR given to the nearest 100m. The record does not by itself mean that the public may enter the place.
