Crumlin Fort is a ringfort, typically dating to the early medieval period (c. 500–1000 AD), commonly associated with Irish rural settlements. Local folklore often links such forts to the "good people" or fairies, and they were sometimes avoided due to beliefs in their supernatural significance.
